Mary contacted us with a very focussed spec. They wanted to buy a a villa in the Moulleau in Arcachon ; one of the town’s most sought after neighbourhoods.
A house with minimum 3 bedrooms, no stairs and steps, a garden with a swimming pool, or the possibility to create one, walking distance to the beach and centre and with a decent budget, but one that was going to be tough in this prized area of Arcachon.
The reason they contacted us was lack of free time and unfamiliarity with the buying process in France.
They had already found a few options on their own, but were looking for impartial expertise and someone to pre-view and shortlist Arcachon properties before they needed to fly over.
Mary speaks French, so language wasn’t a barrier, but they both felt they needed a real estate expert in France they could trust to look after their best interests at all times.
Based in Dublin, Ireland, Michael is a corporate director and often travelling internationally for work. Mary was running the household fulltime and taking care of her boys, which left little time to fly over to France each time they spotted a potentially suitable home.
