Richard and Lillian’s Story :

Young retirees from The United Kingdom, Richard and Lillian were looking for a character home in any of Provence’s primes locations in The Luberon or Alpilles. They had recently sold a subsatantial villa in Portugal and were looking for a property located in a more driveable distance from England. They also wanted some features they didn’t have in their Portuguese home, notably : architectural charm, an authentic village, privacy and few neighbours.

They were drawn to Provence for its all year round sunny climate, great food and wine, authentic villages, stunning architecture and the general charm of its quintessential French living. They contacted Buyer’s Agent France in order to streamline and secure the buying process. They were looking for a local real estate expert with Fluent French and good access to local networks of real estate agents in Provence and other contacts such as English speaking notary and a property manager.Richard and Lillian were having difficulty getting prompt responses from selling agents and the language barrier was also slowing things down. Also they didn’t have access to the full market, not to mention off-market homes. Just a stone’s throw away from Saint Remy de Provence, Avignon, Arles and Aix en Provence. It had a stunning swimming pool designed in the style of a Provencal basin. A garden with ancient olive trees and other landscaped features making for exceptional outdoor living. Inside was the perfect blend of old beams and antique doors, with full modern luxury and 4 en-suite bedrooms. This was the last property built withing walking distance to the lively village centre in Eygalieres. A very rare find.
